What are people saying about their time at Rolling Ridge? Here are some reviews and kind words from our guests.
Rich, soul-laden time of gathered ritual, wild wonders, and healing.
I came with fear of silence – I leave blessed and hopeful I will be able to build on this silence.
Such a gift to have this time of Sabbath and song, simple meals and sleep, witness to the return of spring.
It was a place where we could meet in peace and laugh, cry, play, and pray. You helped us set a vision for the year we have ahead of us.
This place is a balm and a blessing. I am so thankful to have been here, to have seen the sunrise over the ridge on Easter morning, to hear the pileated and the red headed woodpecker hammer the day’s greeting, to have seen the flash of yellow beneath the flicker’s wings, to have shared in companionship around the morning fire in the circle and the fire also in this woodstove. Likewise, the fire now in my heart, stoked again for the journey.
Thank you for the space to explore the connections between scripture and art and to rest in the laughter and conversation of community.
Time away from the city is just what we needed. A good chance to slow down and reconnect with each other and nature
Thank you for the wisdom, kindness, and hospitality you have shown me. “The Great Silence” has truly taught me a lot. I have grown spiritually here in a way I could not have imagined. May God …bless you and protect this land…
…enjoyed the land, the wildlife, the springtime beauty, and being together in community with many children of all ages. I took special delight in watching the mother phoebe feeding her baby chicks in the nest just outside the kitchen window; a reward for washing dishes…
Six women gathered to walk the woods, reflect, and draw sustenance from keeping silence punctuated by praying the hours. A rich time in golden autumn light, good spiritual companionship, and shared meals and expenses.
“…If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you,
you are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows
where you are. You must let it find you.”
