Rolling Ridge Study Retreat (near Harpers Ferry, WV)
Looking to learn more about our local forests? Join us for an autumn harvest of the wild on the ridge. You’ll learn about what is available to forage in early fall. We will be looking at 10 plants in detail, discussing edibility, medicinal use as well as some primitive skills uses for some plants.

- A journal and pen
- Lunch and snacks
- Water bottle
With instructors Kate Evans, Josh Evans and Luke Bauer. Kate is a certified Traditional Herbalist through the Sage Mountain Herbal Center. Josh is a Master Naturalist through the Audubon Society as well as certified in Permaculture Design. Luke is a certified permaculturist, forager, woods-wanderer, and basket-maker interested in connecting people with their landscape. Each has been learning and practicing the foraging arts for nearly a decade.
