Rolling Ridge Study Retreat (near Harpers Ferry, WV)

Who knew you could weave baskets with wool? In this class we will explore the melding of plant and animal into wonderful, wild baskets. Colorful, soft and cuddly, these baskets make a simple and beginner-friendly project!

After meeting the plants that lay the base for our furry weavers, we will dive into the joy of creating these beloved baskets. This drop-off event is ideal for ages 8 and older. 

$40; scholarships are available

Instructor Luke Bauer is a basket maker, forager, woods wanderer, educator, and father of two. He has been working at connecting himself and others to the local landscape for more than a decade. He facilitates weekly nature school classes for homeschoolers, as well as workshops on basket-making, plant identification, ancestral skills, and wilderness awareness.
