Rolling Ridge Study Retreat (near Harpers Ferry, WV)
Who knew you could weave baskets with wool? In this class we will explore the melding of plant and animal into wonderful, wild baskets. Soft and cuddly, these baskets are always a maker and collector’s favorite.
After meeting the plants that lay the base for our furry weavers, we will dive into the joy of creating these beloved baskets. All experience levels are welcome!
$75; scholarships are available
Instructor Luke Bauer is a basket maker, forager, woods wanderer, educator, and permaculturist. He has been working at connecting himself and others to the local landscape for more than a decade. He leads workshops on basket-making, plant identification, ancestral skills, and wilderness awareness.
